What is NLP?

 

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is essentially a tool for change in behaviour.  It works by the NLP coach using specialist techniques to help you to re-programme your habits towards a happier, healthier and more productive way of living.

 

How does it work?

 

From the moment we are born, we are constantly learning.  We generally learn our habits and behaviours from what motivates us on the deepest level, even if a person’s habits may appear negative to others. For that person, their behaviour motivates them towards a specific goal.  For example, a person that over eats may be seeking comfort; a person that has a very sedentary, inactive lifestyle may be motivated towards relaxation. In the same way that a person who drinks to much alcohol may be drinking to forget a bad experience.  NLP can help you with any behavioural change that you want to implement in your life.

 

Firstly, you need to know what it is that you want to change in your life.  NLP is a tool that will then help you prepare for that change and show you what to do to make it happen.  Firstly, you will need a brief consultation which will enable us to determine what kind of help you will need to move you towards your overall goal. From there you can book some sessions.

Paul Folan and Danny Wallis are qualified as “NLP Fitness Professional Coaches”  which is the only fitness specific NLP qualification in the UK.  Paul is proud to tell people that he was the second person in the country to qualify as a NLP Fitness Professional Coach, only missing first place by a matter of minutes!

Sharon uses Adappt as a training Venue for her London courses. Her first course ran in July 2010 with amazing success.  Sharon is currently working with Adappt to plan future courses for 2011.
